Repka did this and people thought the bloke was a legend.

I'd have Shelvey here all day long.

Doesn't really prove much does it?

Injury?

Not exactly conclusive proof he thought "fuck it I'm not moving"

Re: Jonjo Shelvey - The epitome of committment
Was he not the guy who scored vs the Pikey's and then went upto them and did the crossed Irons with his arms, if he was then he has my respect even if he does look like Dobby.

He's not good enough for West Ham, plain and simple.

I don't think he scored against Millwall for Blackpool but he did the crossed hammers when they scored in front of their fans.

Shelvey is a gifted midfielder no doubt.........not just a keep it simple type player.

No wonder at his young age he already has his FULL INTERNATIONAL CAPS.

Very good player, but I always look at him and imagine him sitting cross-legged on a wooden bridge, playing the banjo and chewing baccy.

Re: Jonjo Shelvey - The epitome of committment
The times I've seen Noble v Shelvey in midfield, Noble's battered him nearly everytime.

Decent player but we're not short of decent midfielders right now.
